UNIMA stands for Union Internationale de la Marionnette, and sometimes it is called International UNIMA.

UNIMA JAPAN (nihon unima) is the Japanese center of UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette).

UNIMA is NGO of friendship and solidarity among people of the world through the art of puppetry and its development.  It is Official Partner of UNESCO. Until now, over a hundred of countries and regions have joined UNIMA.
